Logo

We are looking for a logo for the site, something to identify it and also the forum.
The theme, in others, could be related to Peace Making, the Internationale, and our Faith; or a mix of those three, or something else if you have more ideas.

well i did have some kind of idea about a logo, perhaps something also involving friendship and a pic of the earth, and i did send a pic, to see what u think, maybe you can somehow delete the part in the middle and edit the middle part with something else like a cross or the earth and then the cross, just let me know what u think.

This is the first idea, which I think it's really good. Now the question is about the owner of the picture, I don't want be in trouble with the copyright...

So, wha's the status on the logo, it seems like the websoite from where the pic was from it expire,since it was so long ago so i heard that it may be public domain. what do u think ??

This pictures is the cover of an album of the artist, even if the site is expire the one who drew it is still the owner. Now it depend of how long this picture exists, it could be, I will check the legislation.

If the picture was register to the copyright at the same time of the CD it would be 13 years old (since 2003).

yes, i did try to, but is really hard to even get an e-mail adress, i dont even know what else to try, but i do know that there is a different person who designed the drawing, different from the artist or author

I asked Mary Lu Walker, in fact she is nice, she told me that it is under copyright and that she is not the owner. I think that's not possible, if the picture is protected we cannot use it without paying for, and there is some paper to sign, etc.
So we'll do something else, it's always better to make is own creation. Then I will use tha one as MSN picture
