I let you read this chapter, habakkuk 3, all the chapter but i won't give you my impression now. It's too strong, you have to read...

Habakkuk ask exactly this question non Christian ask sometimes: "Why God let sometimes the wicked wins, and the wars happen, and why all the poverty in the world if he his God?", or this kind I head sometimes. Reading this book give answers, and encourage:

"But these things I plan won't happen right away. Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed." Habakkuk 2:3

"I will have no pleasure in anyone who turns away, but the righteous will live by their faith." Habakkuk 2:4

You said on the chat that the third chapter is wellknown by farmers, why?

I just ask you to explain us, your from a farmer family and probably are more able than I to tell us the meaning we might not find out.

So from your understanding I mean, what the encouragement for farmers?

Two days ago we harvested our canola. Two weeks before we had heil on it. We lost 50 pourcent that day. That day i was a little bit angry at our God because i don't understand why the heil came two weeks before harvest time. Habakkkuk 3 show us that it will become worse. One day we will plant and we won't harvest something... This time will come for sure !!!

When I red the Psalm 144: 13-14 I made the relation with this topic. It's a blessing for farmers!:

"Our barns will be filled
with every kind of provision.
Our sheep will increase by thousands,
by tens of thousands in our fields;

Our oxen will draw heavy loads.
There will be no breaching of walls,
no going into captivity,
no cry of distress in our streets."
