Hi, I suggested this topic because since the forum's creation we tackeld many interesting topics, but not much about our I.V.E.P year.
This message is addressed to the trainnees who were (or are) in North America, also to everyone who want know more about it. I just want let you read about my feelings 6 months after being back from the U.S.
After I went home I quickly get back to work, interrupted by two trips in Asia. It's true that kept me to have a real inverse cultural shock. Being in America opened my minds to many things, and on voluntaring job as well. Then today I'm planning another mission that I will tell more about later on. The conclusion for me is that going one year abroad gave me the desire to travel, and made my heart wants to learn more about God outside the boarders, and how to serve Him. The I.V.E.P year changed me in good, and I use everything I learned everyday. I do things in a kind of different way now, and people got to know me this way. I'm still thanksful to M.C.C with this program very good, and to God to had give me this blessing to been there. I push people to apply for doing this year in North America, because I believe it's a real way to have a special journey.
I know some of you guys have hard time to find job, or to reajust, when some others just thrill with their past experience. I hope everyone is back to his life with no trouble though.
